Annapurna Uluwatu Indian Restaurant
About This Spot
Stepping into Annapurna Uluwatu Indian Restaurant is like finding a colorful nook tucked away from the buzz of Bali’s southern coast. Situated along a lively stretch of Jl. Raya Uluwatu Pecatu, the restaurant carries an open, airy feel with interiors that brighten the space — a gentle balance between vibrant and relaxed. The moment you arrive, the surrounding sounds from the road weave into the backdrop, reminding you that this is a spot rooted in its neighborhood rather than a secluded hideaway.
The atmosphere here moves at an unhurried, friendly pace. Staff welcome guests with a quiet attentiveness, contributing to a sense of ease rather than rush. It’s a place where you might settle into conversation or quietly savor the moment, accompanied by thoughtfully crafted flavors that speak to both North and South Indian culinary traditions.
Food here invites a personal kind of discovery — whether it’s the aroma of freshly buttered naan or the warm, spiced notes of masala chai. You’ll find comforting vegetarian and vegan choices alongside dishes rich with creamy, fragrant sauces. The cocktail bar adds an unexpected layer to the experience, with refreshing, locally inspired drinks that complement the menu’s depth without overshadowing it.
As you dine, the subtle hum from outside is occasionally punctuated by the clink of glass and low conversation, contributing to an unpolished charm. While the service can be leisurely, it reflects a sincere desire to provide a genuine experience, not just a transactional one. This is a spot that feels lived-in, where people come for honest flavors and a moment of calm amid the tourist bustle.
Visiting Annapurna is less about extravagant flair and more about finding warmth in simplicity: a place where authentic spices meet heartfelt hospitality, and where every bite offers a small, quiet joy.

We played it safe and ordered veg ang non-veg thali. Gravy & curd felt a lil too tangy and could have been better. Iced coffee was too watery. The place is nice and has good interiors but it's next to the road and gets a lot of noise from the outside.

So delicious!! My new favorite place when it comes to Indian food. Really tasty meals and the interior is so lovely and colorful. It’s just a little bit expensive dough, otherwise we would return more often.

We visited this restaurant during our Uluwatu trip and had lunch there. Ordered Veg Biriyani (5 ⭐) and Paneer masala. Both were yummy and delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to taste good Indian foods near Uluwatu. updated: after seeing some reviews from other guests want to also included one incident that happened with us. the staffs are not well qualified to handle customers properly. When we were at the restaurant there was maybe customers only in 4 tables and they forgot to give us drink that we ordered and also gave us a wrong bill of a different table. They apologized later for the mistake.

I ordered Paneer Biryani and Idli Sambhar. Both were okay. Vibe is nice and service is good though they take longer than usual to bring food. In Uluwatu this is a good vegetarian place.

I have never been treated so well in a place here in Bali! The place is very nice and welcoming. The bathrooms are clean and there is a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is very welcoming. As soon as I arrived Faisa welcomed me and made me feel at home. Tasty dishes and beautiful to look at. I will definitely come back!!!

After visiting the Uluwatu temple, I decided to eat delicious Indian food. Well, it was great. The atmosphere in the place is calm and pleasant, the staff is smiling and responsive, you will not be left without attention here. Especially a guy named Axel is a charismatic waiter who knows exactly what to do and how to make your rest in this place unforgettable. There are many items of vegetarian dishes in the restaurant, and everything we ordered had a bright taste. Healthy , juicy and colorful - thank you very much for that amazing experience, Annapurna
